Correction/apology

It has just been brought to my attention that some of the information in the previous chapter was incorrect.  Apparently anyone can join the ROA, but some of its benefits are only available to people who own at least 50% of a horse.  Apologies for any confusion caused.  That does not alter the fact that I believe that it is wrong that any horse owned by a racing partnership is going to find it difficult to become eligible for these Sunday bonuses; that I believe that it is wrong that the NTF has not opposed the current situation; and that I believe that it is wrong that the BHA has allowed it.  We should be encouraging syndicate ownership, not placing it at a disadvantage.  And we, as trainers, should be pushing for the interests of all our owners equally.
